Shipping Policy
We offer FREE Shipping anywhere in the Canada on orders over $500. For orders that do not qualify for free shipping, the shipping fee will be calculated at checkout. An additional shipping fee may apply to rural and less populated locations.
Delivery Schedules
Orders are processed within two business days in most cases. After orders are dispatched for pickup, an order complete email with tracking information is sent. Transit times vary depending on whether your order is delivery by a freight carrier or parcel courier. Transit times for most of Southern Ontario and Quebec is 1- 3. Other regions in Canada is 3-7 days. Processing and transit times are estimates only.
Free Shipping Exceptions
Orders shipping to certain rural and less populated locations may be subject to an additional shipping fee, which varies depending on the size and weight of the product(s) being shipped. Should this be the case for your order, a sales associate will contact you to discuss an additional shipping fee and possible shipping alternatives. If you don’t agree with the additional shipping fee, we can issue you a refund minus the 2.9% credit card transaction fee if paid by credit card.
If you would like to confirm whether your shipping address qualifies for free shipping before you place your order, please contact us with your city, postal code and the products you’re interested in.
We regret that we cannot ship orders to Nunavut or PO Boxes.
USA Shipping
MAXUM fitness can ship orders to the USA. An extra shipping fee may need to be applied. If you would like to know the amount of this fee before you place your order, please contact us and provide your zip code and the items you wish to purchase. Once you place your order, we will then create an order for the extra shipping fee which can be paid from your account orders page.
Orders above US$2,500 will need to be customs cleared by a broker. MAXUM fitness will handle the entire process and will cover the assocated fees. All you need to do is sit back and wait for your order to arrive.
Shipping Protection
We offer guaranteed no hassles shipping protection from Route. Route offers you “peace of mind” shipping protection at an affordable price. The cost to you – to fully protect your package in the event that it is lost, damaged, or stolen – is calculated based on the subtotal of the order.
To remove Route shipping protection, go to your cart and click the remove link below the cart total.
To report a shipment issue to get a replacement or a refund click here. Route refunds the cost of the item(s) alone. Shipping costs, taxes, and the Route premium are not included.
Delivery Information
Orders arriving by freight carrier are delivered CURB SIDE ONLY. It is your responsibility to move the equipment into your home. This is standard policy with freight carriers. You can specify “no signature required” in your shipping notes during checkout if you don’t need to be present or if someone is always home, which will expedite your delivery. If you prefer to be present for the delivery, you can add a note to call you at a given number to schedule a delivery date. In this case, you need to be present in order to receive the delivery. If you can’t accept the first available delivery date, you may be charged a storage fee issued by the carrier. If you fail to be present at the scheduled time, you will be charged for the second delivery and the shipping company may charge you additional storage fees until your order can be delivered. If you cause the driver to wait beyond the 15 minute grace period you will be responsible for the wait fee charged by the freight carrier.
PLEASE NOTE: Undeliverable items are subject to returns and restocking fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer. Refusal of delivery, failure to return calls from shipping companies to schedule a delivery, and failure to show up for a scheduled delivery will result in returns and restocking fees. Customers are responsible for verifying receipt of all items, including condition upon arrival. Occasionally, items are damaged or lost in transit. In order for MAXUM fitness to recover damages or shortages from the shipping company, and complete or replace your order, all issues must be noted on the delivery bill. Please thoroughly inspect your order prior to signing for the items and releasing the delivery driver. If you are not able to fully inspect everything at that time, please write “Subject to Inspection” on the delivery bill before signing. Damage or receiving incorrect products must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
If you have any special delivery requests or instructions, please contact us ahead of time. Some shipping companies offer lift gate service or inside delivery for an extra fee. It is important that we receive special requests prior to shipment to determine if the requests can be met, and to make special arrangements.
Local Pickup
We allow local pickup of your order at our warehouse in Mississauga Ontario. Select the pickup option at checkout and you will be notified when your order will be ready for pickup.
