After alot of research I wanted a set of Snode Adjustable Dumbbells 80lbs. Chose because I wanted quick changing ADs, but still being durable. Can read my review on their site about the ADs. Didn’t sell Snode though in any Calgary fitness stores so went online. Chose MAXUM fitness as Northern Fitness was nearly $150 more as they charge the shipping. Very smooth process with MAXUM. I was worried the order delivery might be tight and before I went on vacation (and my poor elderly father in law watching the place, would have to drag heavy weights into the house 😆). Called and agent very helpful, order processed in a day and shipping was 2 days out of their other warehouse in BC (no surprises from what agent told me). Nothing arrived broken and loving the equipment!

I ordered the maxum s-92 smith machine and couldn't be more pleased. Shipping took about 6 business days and was delivered to my doorstep. The build quality is exceptional for the price. Everything runs really smooth, I lubed every pulley and the running track for the weights and smith and everything glides smoothly. The instructions can leave a bit to be desired but are good enough to figure out. A lot of the pieces had tiny little metals balls in from the manufacturing process I'm assuming where it was laser cut, they definitely make a mess and you should uncrate it and shake it out outside. There were also a dozen or so left over bolts, I'm not sure what they're for but I didn't need them for the machine. It would be easier to build with 2 people but took me about 6 hours to fully uncrate and build. Overall couldn't be more pleased, wicked addition for a home gym.

Simply perfect. I bought the Maxum smith machine with rotating arms, the bench and the floor tiles. The product quality is excellent, the machine is extremely heavy, strong and well designed. The numerous features engineered make is a very versatile tool to do so many exercises. The different positions makes it possible to be creative and work all muscles. The service was also very very solid. I ordered many things in separate batches and they delivered everything in one trip, ahead of schedule. Very satisfied by Maxum

have had my maxum x1 for a year and honestly cannot be anymore happy with it. It's really good quality and all the attachments are well made. customer service is excellent as well.

I bought the 82.5" version of the MAXUM X2 back in December 2025, and after six months of heavy, consistent use, I can confidently say it’s the best investment I’ve made for my fitness goals. Compared to other high-end functional trainers and power racks on the market, the value you get with Maxum is unbeatable, especially here in Canada. You get a heavy-duty, commercial-grade rack and a ton of attachments without the massive price tag of other brands, I am very happy with my purchase.

Terrible customer service - although they have designed some great equipment, the service regarding purchasing additional equipment or parts has been dismal. After 1 year of owning Maxum equipment, I truly wish I had purchased elsewhere. Flooring sent in the wrong color and then they advised me that it’s their “suppliers” fault. Handles that break after only a couple uses….and the worst part is they make it seem like this is all my fault. Do your research before getting involved with this company.

I love this place, my wife and I picked up the SX2 floor model and snodes with rack. All the employees are great and very helpful. Will purchase from here again !
