I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The S‑92 is a complete and solid device, definitely of commercial-grade quality. I’m very happy with my purchase and I will enjoy it for many years to come.

Best bang for your buck!
They very well managed my pre-order and it even arrived earlier than expected!
I really like the F-220 Pro. I has many features that I was looking for:
-Pretty low so I can do pullups even in my basement
-Functional trainer built in the rack
-Weight stack + possibility to add plates
-Multiple attachements included
-Aluminium pulleys
-Really cheap compared to the competition, but very well made
Overall, very happy and I totally recommend!
Terrible experience which has now ruined a promised christmas gift to my spouse. Was very excited when i finally found thr functional trainer/smith machine ive been looking for approx $4000 on a Black friday deal. It was advertised as free canada-wide shipping with no indication of exisiting execptions. Hence the reason why i chose Maxum over competitors. After purchase was made through their promoted financing with Flexiti, invoice came with the dreaded " *some exemptions". After multiple delivery delays without a definitive arrival time line, on January 04 Maxum decided to inform me i owed them an extra $221 for shipping. Maxum, HONOR YOUR SALE ADVERTISEMENTS, inform your customers sooner and DO BETTER.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We understand how frustrating this experience has been, especially given the timing around the holidays, and we’re sorry for the disappointment it caused.

To clarify, in your case the additional shipping cost amounted to $211.20. While we do advertise free Canada-wide shipping, all instances of this promotion — including on product pages, in the cart, and at checkout — are accompanied by the notice that exceptions may apply. Our shipping policy further explains that these exceptions can occur when freight costs exceed our free-shipping threshold, which is more common for certain remote or less densely serviced locations.

Unfortunately, because we ship large, freight-based equipment using multiple carriers, we’re unable to generate real-time freight quotes during checkout. As a result, final shipping costs are sometimes confirmed manually after purchase. We strive to absorb the vast majority of shipping costs, and the additional fee requested represented only a portion of the actual freight expense.

That said, we recognize that the delay in communicating this information added to your frustration, and we regret that this was not resolved sooner. When it became clear that we could not meet your expectations under the promotion, we processed a full cancellation and refund, including your Flexiti transaction, as requested.

We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify where we can improve communication and clarity moving forward.

Customer service has been extremely prompt. I have had a couple questions about the shipping procedure and status of my smith machine. I have not waited more then 24 hours for a detailed response. I have not received the product yet but will write a follow up after i receive it. I am sure with my first impressions of the company that will be great as well!

Purchased a X2 squat rack, ab5 bench, and chrome barbell. The squat rack is really well built, high quality, heavy duty, functional, and practical. The only hiccup is my X2 were missing two crucial pieces so I haven't been able to finish assembling the cables and weight stack. When I contacted Maxum about this I received a response within 24 hours and was told the pieces would be ordered from the factory and delivered to me in about 2 weeks. Once I receive those missing pieces and complete building my rack I will follow up with an update and pictures.

The bench and barbell are both very high quality and heavy duty. Very happy with my purchase.
