When it arrives at your door, its going to show up in a big shipping crate. Do not worry, the machine is pretty straight forward to assemble - take your time and it helps having two people (atleast to get the frame bolted togeather! ** NOTE ** Do not tighten all the back bolts until you have the front pullup bar piece on first***).
A feature I like that this machine offers over others is the ability to raise the smith bar at a level that makes it so if you're 5' 10" and under you can walk under the bar without ever worrying about hitting your head. It also comes standard with a 220lb weight stack on both sides (*** NOTE *** When installing, make sure you place plates the correct way facing up - it does matter! ). This is great for when you're adjusting your weight stacks for doing pulley movements, speaking of that, the aluminum pulleys are really smooth, feels just like a commerical setting. I was tight for space as I set this up in a single car garage with not a lot of head room. This machine has a max height of 82" and only comes out 60" from the back to front giving me plenty of space to switch things up if I wanted to use free weight.
Overall, the Maxum S-150 Smith Machine offers an all in one workout. Its ts sturdy construction, versatility, adjustability, safety features, and space-saving design make it a great choice for anyone of all levels. Very happy with my purchase.

I had a concern and received a quick reply from customer service with a solution. I just put in a second order for other products to complete my home gym.
I received the shipment less than a week after my purchase and everything came in a Hugo wooden crate, in a perfect state. It took us a bit less than 4 hours to assemble it. The material is definitely very high quality. I highly recommand this machine to everyone who's interested.

Customer service was top notch!! Bob answered my multiple questions in emails very quickly. My machine arrived within a week of ordering and was surprisingly easy to set up!! All around a fantastic machine and experience purchasing!!! Definitely recommend, well worth the money!!!
Maxum did a great job shipping this across Canada to Calgary, Alberta. No issues and it arrived very quickly, ordered June 22 and it arrived on my driveway June 29.
Everything was well packaged in the crate, no damage. Instructions were easy to follow and I got it assembled in just over 5 hours with no help except to have someone hold one of the left/Right frames so I could attach the cross bracing. Everything else was assembled by one person.
Issues: only 2 and very minor
• The cables were a little long by maybe 6-8 inches and needed to be cut.
• One of the tubes was a bit crimped on the end and had to be squared off, just used a piece of wood and a small crowbar to stretch it back. This was the small setting tube that holds the stainless steel vertical rack tube.
That’s really about it, everything else was EZ-PZ
After assembly it becomes one sturdy piece of equipment. Really, this thing is a BEAST! I am very happy with my purchase!
Maxum is also very quick to reply with answers to questions, even considering the time difference, do you guys even sleep?
