The MAXUM Fitness S-90 Multifunctional Smith Machine Power Home Gym is a game changer.  This gym gives you all the quality and features you want in a complete all-in-one home gym at a price that won’t break the bank.

The unique dual front frame post design allows for a shorter distance between the power rack frame posts, which make it more suitable for free weight barbell use than a wider frame.  Our weight stacks are solid refined steel and not plastic filled cement (cement is for sidewalks and don’t belong in a gym).  The stainless steel rack hole spacing is 2 inches and uses a heavy gauge steel.

    Only complaint is the smith machine bar is very lightly knurled.
    And odd ball frame size size 2.75x2 makes it hard to find aftermarket j cups and other rack accessories.

    Overall I’m happy with with it.

    All though I just purchased this product a couple days ago I felt it worth to write a review. I have been training in gyms for over 30 years and see no reason to go back after having this product added to my home gym. Good quality with smooth and quite parts. The S-90 allows a full range of motion on all the exercises Like lat pull down that other systems do not provide.also has lots of accessories. Nothing I have found In this price range can compare. Only draw back was the assembly instructions I found challenging at times but maybe it was just me. Thanks

    The Maxum S 90 is the real deal. I bought the s90 in particular because the weight stack in the back allowed me to put it closer to the wall so it fits perfectly in my basement. Real high quality and value. Ive only had it for a week now and Im amazed at what I got for the money. Every part of this machine is heavy duty and smooth working. It comes in a heavy wooden crate and each piece is wrapped in protective plastic. Probably took me 2.5 hours to put it together myself. Thanks Maxum, and thanks Bob for making and delivering an amazing product!

    Great customer service and any set-up issues were dealt with by Bob at Maxum

    It's definitely not the greatest quality, but it's all about value. Unless you want to spend $5000, I highly recommend this.

    Some minor things I'd wish for:

    -Foot plate for cable rows to be easily removable/flipped down. When using it, the pulley can't swivel the full amount
    -Depth of rack could be a bit more. You have to be careful otherwise the smith machine bars get in the way
    -Safety bars would ideally be the better style (like on the S150) (more $$). These squeak loudly as you put them in or take them out
    -Leg press plate for smith
    -Leg hold down for lat pulldown

    Overall it is amazing, and does 90% of the exercises you need to do. You have to get creative with the functional trainer!

    I love how small the footprint is, perfect for small home gyms. Could even fit in a bedroom.

    Although this review may read negative, I'm giving 5 stars. This review is kind of comparing it to $5000 equipment.

    Ordered this online on a Friday and had it at my door in less than a week. I Put it together by myself and had a bit of trouble with the cable set up but Bob was unbelievable, answered his phone on a Sunday and gave me a few pointers on where I was going wrong. Had it up and running in no time !

    Had the best experience from the people at Maxum!! They were able to get me exactly what I wanted quickly and were willing to work with me every step of the way. The s-90 is exactly what I wanted for my home gym, it came together well and is a very sturdy machine.

    This company will treat you right! I am in Alberta and they still gave me amazing experience.
